About This Rox Life

This Rox Life exists to make HYROX simpler to train for, easier to race, and less intimidating to start.

We created it because there’s a gap between the official rulebook and what people actually need in the weeks leading into an event: clear station standards, practical cues, pacing ideas, and honest notes on what tends to trip athletes up on the day.

What you’ll find here:

  • Plain-English station guides (rules, common no-reps, and technique basics)
  • Training ideas you can apply whether you’re chasing a PB or just trying to finish strong
  • Race-week prep: what to focus on, what to ignore, and how to keep it simple
  • Blog posts covering HYROX updates, event logistics, and the occasional debate worth paying attention to

If you’re new to HYROX, start with the stations section, then pick a couple of posts that match where you’re at in your training.
